Saturday at NYCC was a whirlwind of panels and screenings and signings. Most of the big programming happened today: Image Comics discussed their slate of upcoming creator-owned titles (lots to look forward to in the next few months), cast members of The Avengers appeared to promote the upcoming film, Mark Hamill discussed his new comic, Marvel and DC hosted panels full of announcements… Rooms were filled to capacity, quidditch matches and masquerade competitions and celebrity appearances were everywhere you looked, and the crowd spared no effort in costuming themselves.
There was far too much to do, and not nearly enough time to do it all. It was exhausting, and exhilarating, and there’s still one more day to go.
